"Tried this place out as a break from camping. The food, environment, and staff were great. They do not serve any alcohol, which was fine with me. My only complaint was the price when it was all said and done. They give you a lot of food which makes up for it but I, personally, would have been happier with smaller portions with a lower price."

"Wonderful place to eat out in the middle of nowhere! We live in Southern Iowa, but are down in the perry area quite often and really love this restaurant! Their fried catfish is phenomenal! The staff are super pleasant and friendly. The wait time to be seated can be a little long, but it's absolutely worth the wait!"

"Love the food open face roast beef is one of our favorite and many times my husband and I will call in and order and run and pick it up since we live near the lake. The food is delicious and there's a lot to choose from not to mention you have to have the ice cream delicious and hand scoop."
